Funeral Hospitality
Although a sad occasion, post-funeral hospitality is also an opportunity for mourners to share stories and reminisce over a ceremonial drink, and this often provides welcome support for the family.

The selection is carefully balanced to include hot and cold items, and vegetable items to provide maximum choice. We cater for special requests like gluten-free, dairy free or vegan items as well.

Crockery & Cutlery Hire
We can organise the hire of crockery, cutlery, tables & tablecloths. We hire from Hire quip and forward the cost on to your invoice from Sweet as a Nut. Below is an estimate cost per place setting. We make a booking and will forward the quote on to you prior to your function. Delivery costs do apply.

- 2 course dinner $3.40 per person
- 3 course dinner $4.10 per person
- Cup, Saucer & teaspoon 80c per person
Conditions
- Please ensure your orders are in sooner rather that later so you don't miss out. We are able to do last minute orders but these need to be phoned into the kitchen by 12 noon the day before on 03 471 4875
- A minimum of 5 people are required.
- Flexibility in Menu Choice for Groups less than 10 is appreciated.
- $5 Delivery Charge will apply on each delivery. May be more depending where the delivery is to be made.
- Waiting Staff can be provided at a charge out rate of $20 per hour, minimum of 2 hours.
- Payment can be Cash, Cheque or Bank Deposit no later than 20th of the Month.
- A charge for Breakages & non-returned items will be at Replacement Cost.
- Food to be consumed within 2 - 4 hours for Food Safety
- All items i.e.. Baskets/Platters belonging to “Sweet As a Nut” must be left at the point of delivery for pick up as arranged by the delivery driver. If a separate pick up is required, a charge will apply.
- A 15% surcharge will apply on Public Holidays.
- Trading hours Monday to Saturday.
- Office hours 9am - 4pm Monday - Friday for accounts
- Change on seasonal prices may apply to fresh produce. Any change in price will be quoted on booking
- Prices subject to GST increases.
